PLEASE PRAY!

Calling all blogging friends, intercessors & prayer warriors! I am asking for prayer for of my very best friends who left this morning on a missionary trip to Haiti. She and 3 other ladies arrived this afternoon in Haiti right before the earthquake hit. None of their husbands or families have heard from them yet.

They asked for several people to pray for them before this trip. They had a lot of different words spoken over them. My husband & I were able to anoint them with oil and pray over them on Sunday afternoon. I received an email from her this morning saying they were in Miami waiting for their connecting flight. She was giving a praise report for the favor God was showing them already in regards to their baggage and other logistics.

None of us could have imagined the kind of tragedy they would face once they got to Haiti. I don't know where they are or what they're facing, but I know that our Heavenly Father has these dear ladies in the palm of His hand. He must have had some reason for sending them at "such a time as this". Still, please pray for them to be safe & that they will be filled with faith & peace. Also, pray for their families while they wait to hear their whereabouts.

Last, pray for the people of Haiti. They are completely devastated. I read a
report on CNN that the people where crying out in the streets yelling "Jesus, Jesus". May God be glorified even in this very tragic time in the poorest nation on earth.

I have a peace that they will be alright, but my heart is still very heavy. Thank you for your prayers & support. God bless.
