I am the wife of a hilarious man, we'll call him "B". We've been married for 13 yrs. I am a stay-at-home Mom of two boys ("J" is 9 and "Little B" is 7). Most importantly, I am a child of God! I've been walking with Him for many years now, and it's still the most exciting thing I've ever done. I like to listen to music, spend time in praise & worship, hang out with family and friends, read a good (clean) love story, write poetry, and my favorite thing in the world to do is...LAUGH!
I grew up in Chapel Hill (for my conservative friends out there, don't hold that against me). I lived with my mom, dad and older brother. My sweet & hilarious grandmother lived right next door.
My Mom, dad & brother were all blessed with a great sense of humor in their own way. My mom had a witty & sarcastic sense of humor. My dad was a little more corny, but could sneak up on you with some real funny sayings. My brother has a very dry wit and you have to listen carefully not to miss what he says, because it will always make you laugh. My mom's side of the family was always joking around. I have the best memories of our holiday family get togethers. My mom went to be with Jesus in 2007, and I miss her terribly, but I know she is happy & filled with joy as she's in the presence of her King. She left us with such precious memories & great stories, but most importantly, she is the reason I am a Christian today.
I met my husband in 1990 - we were great friends for 6 yrs. before we started to even be interested in each other. Suddenly God turned the light on and showed us that we were meant to be together. We married in 1996. I had my first son in 2000 and my second son in 2002.
I've attended a few churches in my life, besides the Methodist one I grew up in. I have been blessed to meet some of the most wonderful, godly people, and I have a lot of awesome friends.
Many of my family & friends will appear in my blog, as they are often the inspiration for some real funny stories. I hope you enjoy getting to know them!
Just for Fun!
